17th April 2014 - 22nd April 2014 4 nights. This is 136 nights that we have spent in our caravan.
We travelled up on the Thursday before Good Friday and it was a good decision that we did, because the site was nearly at the 200 caravan limit and a sign was put up later to say the site was Full.
This is a very rare occasion and I always believed there was a policy of not turning caravans away from a c&cc rally, that they would always find you a pitch.
The 3 years we have been going to the THS (temporary holiday site) Easter rally at Cartmel have all been fabulous holidays, but this years was by far the best because we had the weather. We had blue skies all day for Good Friday and Saturday with a few spots of rain on Easter Sunday and blue skies again on the Easter Monday. Lots of people on the site were sporting red sunburned skin, including me.

Between the grass and the caravans is a stream, so no caravans on this side. |

Not a sign we see very often. If you just arrived with a caravan, unlucky! |
