Dancing the old fashioned medieval way at Fountains Abbey

We had a day out at Fountains Abbey which is a National Trust property in Yorkshire and a good day out.
We just happened upon this group of time travelers who were having a dance the old fashion way.
I looked but couldn't see any mobile phones, so they must be from another age. Everyone has a phone? Right?
If you are looking for a day out in Yorkshire then you can't go wrong here. Quite close to Ripon or Harrogate and easy to find by following the signs. We use a sat nav to find it and we always get there without a problem, we've been 3 times.

Fountains Abbey is an old building built by monks in the early parts of the last millenium, about 800 years old. I could check but I'm feeling lazy tonight. The abbey is a spectacular place to visit with the family and is maintained by The National Trust, who charge a fortune for non members but it's free for members.

The ceiling is a work of art and the superb architecture is a joy to behold. On occasions there are concerts held in this section of the abbey and the sound is incredible.

The height of the main section of fountains abbey is startling, you have to lean back and crane your neck to see all the way to the top.
